Edition 04: Jennifer Davis
Meet The Collector: Jennifer Davis

Why We Chose Jennifer
We exist to spread happiness, and Jennifer really brings that to life with her collection!
In addition to holiday decorating, baking, and hosting, her Instagram posts often share surprise after-school snack spreads that she creates for her teenagers. We LOVE how she incorporates Happy Everything! in making ordinary afternoons feel a little more fun and special.
We think these simple weekly treats are such a sweet tradition, and a wonderful way to make memories her family will treasure for years to come. (That’s just one reason her Instagram handle @memorymakinmama is so perfectly named!)
About Jennifer
Jennifer is currently a stay-at-home mom. She has been married to her best friend for 15 years and they are raising two beautiful children, ages 12 and 14. She taught elementary school for 10 years and while she misses the classroom at times, Jennifer knows that she is where the Lord wants her to be for now. Being very present and intentional while making memories with her family is one of the greatest joys of her life.
Jennifer’s decorating style in three words
Classic, festive, southern charm.
Tell us about your sweet after-school snack tradition for your kids. Do they look forward to how you decorate with Happy Everything! for that and for the holidays?
Each Friday, I love to have a fun, typically festive snack, to kick off our weekend.
Sometimes it is homemade but oftentimes it is store bought. It’s likely a type of junk food my kids have mentioned they would like but that we don’t really eat throughout the week.
I started this tradition many years ago and it just stuck. It’s something that they look forward to even as one is entering high school.
Using my Happy Everything! pieces make celebrating our “Fri-Yays” fun and festive.

What's your favorite part about Fall?
I love the coziness that Fall brings. The smells, the twinkle and glow, the holidays and traditions, football, sweaters and boots with a good cup of coffee season... Everything just seems better in the Fall!
Favorite Fall Happy Everything! pieces?
My favorite fall piece would have to be my (Retired) Black and White Trays with the (Retired and OG!) Jack-O-Lantern Attachment.

What’s your typical reaction when a new collection drops?
I always feel like I am a child and it’s Christmas morning when there’s a new Happy Everything! drop. I can’t wait to see the new Attachments, and I am always looking to add to my collection. You can never have too many!
I love hosting and entertaining and even just making ordinary days, such as a Friday after school, feel special. Happy Everything! makes that easy!!
How long have you been collecting Happy Everything!?
I have been collecting for approximately 15 years {wow!}
Do you remember your very first Happy Everything! piece? What was it—and why did you choose it?
My very first Happy Everything! Base was the original Bright Dot Big Round Platter. I love the colorful polka dots!
What drew you to Happy Everything! in the first place?
I love hosting and entertaining. My Happy Everything! pieces are functional, darling, and festive!

What’s your all-time favorite Icon (or one you reach for again and again)?
I’d say my favorite Icon is probably any of my Christmas Attachments because it’s easily my favorite holiday.
And your all-time favorite Base or POPSHOP item? Or color combination?
I love the Bowls and I always keep one on my counter loaded with fruit.
I also purchased eight of the (Retired) Happy Everything! dessert plates and love to use those for birthdays and other random celebrations!

How many total Bases and Attachments are in your collection?
I currently have 16 Bases and too many Attachments to count. 😂
Where in your home (or office?) do you display your collection the most?
The kitchen is where you will find all of my Bases. However, I don’t have them all displayed at once and will pull them out as needed for hosting and entertaining.

How often do you switch out your Icons?
I love to switch out my Attachments for each season and holiday.
How do you incorporate your collection into entertaining and/or everyday life?
Some Bases sit out year-round, such as my Big Bowl used for fruit, and my Mini White Platter. Others, I pull out forentertaining and hosting.

What advice would you give a new collector?
I would say to take advantage of the Spring and Holiday “Party” events when there is a nice discount and oftentimes a new, Limited Edition Attachment drop. Maybe you are able to purchase a few more things since it’s at a discounted rate.
{Editor’s Note: This year’s 2026 Get Happy Holiday Party dates will be indeed have an oh-so-festive Limited Edition Attachment available for FREE with the purchase of a full-price Base. Plus, you’ll get 20% off and free shipping! Stay tuned for the dates and Limited Edition Icon reveal. Happy hint: it’s our coziest holiday look yet!}
What’s your favorite memory connected to the brand or your collection?
My favorite memory would have to be receiving my first Base and Attachment. I remember seeing it in a store for the first time and thinking, “I just can’t live without it.” LOL. It’s so colorful and happy!

Has your collection marked any milestones (moves, celebrations, babies, gifts, etc.)?
My collection is used year-round for every single holiday, celebration, and milestone! They are the first pieces I reach for when hosting and entertaining and even just everyday serving my family. I love to cook and bake, so I reach for them often.
What piece is currently at the top of your wish list?
I would love to add more of the Nesting Cubes to my collection. I have two Neutral ones but would love some colorful ones.

If you could design your dream Icon, what would it be?
I think we need a sweet puppy face Attachment, maybe similar to the dog emoji 🐶. This precious face reminds me of my own very spoiled rotten dog, Sadie Kate.
What’s your favorite kind of party to plan? What does a happy celebration look like for you at your home?
My favorite party to plan would have to be any Christmas celebration. I love this time of year and all the joy it brings. Your home is already so decorated and festive that it makes party planning easy!
