Poppy's Story
In April 2021, Poppy made her big debut into this world and shortly after, she was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Her diagnosis caught everyone by surprise, and the Miller family immediately began their journey towards navigating a new life full of unknowns. Over the past two years of her life, Poppy has worked towards meeting ambitious developmental milestones through targeted therapies, and she has faced and overcome a handful of health setbacks... all with a smile on her face (well, except for her occasional "signature scowl" to let you know when she isn't happy!). What Poppy's parents soon realized is, while a Down Syndrome diagnoses can mean a variety of additional challenges and risks, it can also mean so much more than that.
As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child. As Missy started sharing her personal experiences with raising a daughter with Down Syndrome online via her Instagram page (@missymiller_), her village grew exponentially as she discovered a newfound community.
Today, a simple scroll across her account will bring an instant smile to your face as you witness the pure joy of watching Poppy, and her loving older brother, Avett, and parents together in shared snippets of their everyday lives.

The Start Of Our 'For Poppy' Campaign
"The first time I met Poppy, her sparkle captured my heart. Her name ‘Poppy’ couldn’t be a more perfect fit, and even as a tiny newborn she filled the room.
While I've worked with Missy for over 6 years, getting to know her and watching her young family grow and grow up has been the greatest joy to me. Soon after Poppy’s birth, inspiration hit me for a new icon design created especially for her. I knew the design needed to capture her BIG personality and be as pretty and joyful as she is.
After learning more about the various challenges a Down Syndrome diagnosis can bring to a family, I knew I also wanted to find a way to lend my support... to allow this icon to not only represent Poppy’s personality, but also to spread happiness to others. I'm so proud we made it happen, and now it's an honor to know that with every purchase of a Big or Mini Poppy Attachment, a donation is made to support individuals and families with Down Syndrome.
Let me introduce... Poppy!
I know you’ll enjoy 'meet'ing this special family, and I hope that you’ll choose to add a Poppy Attachment to your Happy Everything! collection and spread a little happy.
Most of all, I hope your new Attachment makes you as happy as Poppy always makes me!"
